Second innings

Sitting at the dentist's chair grinning wide at him, not that I was pleased with him or any such
thing but coz of this contraption I was fitted with, had some time to think about how technology has advanced in the last few years. No, not speaking about the fighter planes, but about certain other appliances which were being soldered on to me with micro precision tools.

There's a sizable population of people who've had crooked teeth, who've gone thru the tortorous
two-three years of treatment and are living happily ever after. Then there are others who've been there done that but their periodontal membrane refuses to budge and also on the side they've been slightly careless and lazy, but I'm not gonna stress too much on that.O:) Rather , I can think of a few reasons why one can jump into it all over again !!..theres absolutely no need to lose hope.

The best part is probably that they come in ceramics now, so you dont have worry about the metal detectors at airports. But of course, they cost double the amount as compared to the metal ones. Yeah, you wont even feel like smiling after you think about it .. yes double, in fact a little more than double but what the hell, Tom cruise had them.

Then of course there's this UV stud gun they've borrowed from the US military, actually star wars would be more apt. I swear I had never seen one of those before ... With blue light eminating it looks pretty cool.

Ah then there's the fun part, the suction tube, wont describe it as the name is suggestive enough. But not too challenging a career for the assistant I guess who sits there doing just this the entire
day. In fact by the time I was done, he was in tears, literally... and I thought my job was dull :P

Plus there is a new thrill involved. People's reactions! Don't hope for any positive ones tho, just the surprized startled puzzled look. Don't bother answering why how where, just flash your million dollar ( yeah ) smile.

I thot the root canal thingie was so much fun. I was laughing too..moreso cause I bit the dentist's fingers! He yelled, instead of me-the patient! Oh you have a green look happening with your blog too..hmm..I DO have a million dollar smile dont I :)?

Good to have you back and thanks for visiting my blog! :)

Yeah, I'm one of those unlucky ones to have had braces for 2 years. And what's the result? Lazy that I am, slacked big time when it came to wearing a temporary thingy at night. So, my front tooth slowly crawled back to its original position and parked itself on top of my other front tooth. I definitely don't have a million dollar smile. :(

And oh yeah! I HATE dentists!
