Cant think of a title

Its valentines day tomorrow . I'm not going to write about love but about the friend I found in the process.
They are always there right in front of your eyes but it takes something more to discover them. Its not like love, which you just find, theres an extra something that makes friendship take off. Oh yeah I know this is turning out to one of the many many sentimental blogs people write all the time, but everyone deserves to show some emotions once in a while , and not just write things for others to read .. :) so thats what I'm doing .
A friend knows when to be there and when to back off and give you some space. To be there when you feel like you've hit the ocean bed. To talk things over with you when you need to talk the most, about life, love and career. To hold your hand when your trembling. To comfort you in ways only a friend can. To reason things out with you and see the brighter side of life. More like Lance Armstrong's mother used to say - turn everything negative into a positive.. To be there to bitch about people you want to bitch about but to also tell you that hatred is not the way to go. Someone who you can be yourself with.. thats completely cliched, but so true and not feel bothered about what the person might think. To be able to say what's on your mind and whats bothering you and being able to do that without feeling like your deepest feelings have been breached. Someone who pushes you to do the things that need to be done, and who prevents you from doing ones which you absolutely shouldn't be doing. Who cares about your well being, almost selflessly.. Almost because no one is completely selfless, and if they claim they are then its either a lie or unconditional love. But this is friendship I'm talking about here. Whose there behind you like a shadow to grab you whenever you fall, without making you feel like your being chased by a stalker. Who advices you and thinks ahead for you while your feeling hazy. Its strange that its been there all the time but you never time to discover it. Who helps you sort things out, sometimes by just being there and letting you know that there's always someone you can cry to without having to worry about soiling their shirt.
Theres are a few people who think of me as Agony aunt.. And to be able to top me(!) he's gotta be called Uncle.
As much as I dread this day every year, the process of trying to find love has earned a few friends for life, and as long as that happens I'm not complaining..
